Redesign

So it’s long overdue that I post something here. I was embarrassed to realise that it is almost eight months since my last missive.
In all honestly the site needs a complete overhaul and redesign. Especially now that I have so much more knowledge and a fair bit more experience.

What have I been up to since the last post?
Well, I’ve built a couple of sites and spent a lot of time practising and developing my skill set. First there was this freebie, unfortunately there was no brief and all I had to work with was a printed leaflet.
Then I built these two sites for a company in Brighton, England. I would like to point out that I had absolutely nothing to do with the design and structure of either and was only employed to build them.

Finally, a few things I have been playing around with.
Here is a page of examples I made to demonstrate to someone some of the possibilities.
A fun jQuery plugin I stumbled across last week. A big thanks to Jason at ennuidesign for the plugin and his help. I must confess that my ignorance in getting one half of this plugin working has shamed me into going back to my PHP books.
Finally, and only for Google Chrome and Apple Safari users, you can get the right time here. This was based on a fun tutorial at CSS-Tricks although it’s not of much practical use as it only works in the two aforementioned browsers.
